Learning and Preparing for Transition to Primary School

Children at Rowland Hill continue to make rapid progress when joining the Over 3's Nursery. They experience a balance of child and adult guided opportunities during the day and across the week.

The children skills and knowledge progress through the year meaning they are curious about the world and are eager to continue their learning in a reception class. Children who leave our over three's unit are able communicators with a wide vocabulary. They have begun their early reading journey and can count and explore mathematical concepts.
