International Day 2022

International Day is an annual family event at Rowland Hill Nursery School and Children's Centre which celebrates all our families.

We share food from all the many cultures represented by our local community. Families share cultural dishes with each other and the children learn about national dress, flags, dance and information about each others cultures and traditions at a fun day event. Children feel valued and it supports children self esteem, confidence and knowledge in understanding the world.

This year PAN NATION preformed along with The Chicken Shed theatre company.

There were opportunities for families to work on mosaics with Cath Reeve, our resident artist. The food was amazing this year and families really enjoyed coming together after two years of social distancing.
