International Day 2024

International Day is an annual family event at Rowland Hill Nursery School and Children's Centre which celebrates all our families.

We share food from all the many cultures represented by our local community. Families share cultural dishes with each other and the children learn about national dress, flags, dance and information about each others cultures and traditions at a fun day event. Children feel valued and it supports children self esteem, confidence and knowledge in understanding the world.

I wanted to pass on my congratulations to all the team for such a wonderful International Day yesterday. It's something my family and I look forward to attending and it didn't disappoint. I fully appreciate all the work that is required to put on an event of this size, before, during and afterwards and want to thank everyone involved for their huge efforts and time in creating this successful event.

I think the amount and range of food that was brought in by the families of Rowland Hill shows how positive the families at Rowland Hill feel towards you all and it was yummy to try some of it.
