Healthy Early Years London (HEYL) is an awards scheme funded by the Mayor of London which supports and recognises achievements in child health, wellbeing and development in early years settings.

Building on the success of Healthy Schools London, HEYL will help to reduce health inequalities by supporting a healthy start to life across themes that include healthy eating, oral and physical health and early cognitive development.

HEYL complements and enhances the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage framework, adding to the focus on children, families and staff health and wellbeing.

The international Schools award supports schools in fostering an international ethos throughout the school and embedding it within the curriculum.

STARS – Sustainable Travel: Active, Responsible, Safe

STARS is TfL's accreditation scheme for London schools and nurseries. STARS inspires young Londoners to travel to school sustainably, actively, responsibly and safely by championing walking, scooting and cycling.

STARS supports pupils' wellbeing, helps to reduce congestion at the school gates and improve road safety and air quality.

Level 4 achieved

The schools gardening award scheme is made up of five levels that provide achievable goals which will help you turn your garden into a valuable learning resource.

Eco-Schools Green Flag Award

An international accreditation that has recognised and rewarded young people’s environmental actions for over 25 years.

Applying for an Eco-Schools Green Flag is the perfect way to acknowledge, reward and celebrate the ecological achievements of young people. It clearly demonstrates that their hard work is appreciated and it provides them with the confidence and motivation to continue actively engaging with environmental issues now and throughout their lifetimes.

It creates the next generation of innovative, inspirational environmentalists and tells local communities that a school, college or nursery is forward-thinking and actively engaged in protecting our planet.

Natural Thinkers Award

Natural Thinkers is a programme that supports teachers and practitioners in connecting children with nature.

The Inclusion Quality Mark Award provides UK schools with a nationally recognised validation of their inclusive practice and ongoing commitment to developing educational inclusion.
